Whether I’m whipping up cupcakes, cake, or cookies, this Homemade Buttercream Frosting is the perfect way to top just about anything.
I can’t tell you how many times people have said, “I could eat this with a spoon!” And I’ve actually made this for my aunt’s co-worker to do just that. She would put a serving in a little bowl and snack on it while watching her favorite TV shows.
Guys, it’s THAT good!
1 cup of butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1-Using a stand or hand mixer, blend butter until smooth & creamy.
2-Add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time until fully incorporated.
3-Add vanilla and mix well.
4-Add heavy whipping cream and blend well until full mixed in.
5-Fill pipping bag and pipe onto cake or cupcakes.
